The Modesto Police Department made two arrests on April 10, 2019 after serving six search warrants related to an assault and robbery that occurred on March 18, 2019 around 3 AM. The assault and robbery occurred in a market parking lot near Sutter and Rouse Avenue in West Modesto. The two victims were robbed and assaulted by the suspects and as a result, the victims suffered serious injuries.
During the search warrant operations, two involved suspects were arrested. Twenty-six-year-old Allen Douangkham of Modesto was arrested for attempted murder, robbery, assault, mayhem, promoting a criminal street gang, and criminal conspiracy. Twenty-four-year-old Alexandria Nevarez, of Modesto was arrested on robbery, assault, and criminal conspiracy.
During the service of the search warrant, officers seized 18 firearms, over 100 pounds of processed marijuana, and 10 pounds of concentrated cannabis from a residence located in the 1500 block of El Dorado Avenue. The residents were not home at the time of the search warrant resulting in an open investigation on the gun and drug charges.
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating four other subjects from Modesto that are believed to be involved in the robbery and assault. They are twenty-two-year-old Angelo Jacobo, twenty-three-year-old Jonathan Sangster, twenty-one-year-old Darin Phaing, and twenty-one-year-old Frank Gray.
